Henry T. Mohr, 93, of Allentown, died July 5, 2013, in DevonHouse Senior Living, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Bessie (Hemphill) Mohr, Florence (Gunkle) Mohr, and Emma (Mohr) Rice. Born in Macungie, he was the son of the late Lawrence D. and Susan H. (Schantz) Mohr.
He worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 36 years, retiring in 1977.
He honorably served his country in the Army as a Staff Sergeant during World War II and Korea.
He was a member of Upper Milford Mennonite Church, where he served as a Deacon, Lay Minister, Sunday school superintendent and teacher.
He was a HAM Radio operator and life member and past president of the Lehigh Valley Amateur Radio Club, member of the Delaware Valley Antique Radio Club, 50 plus year member of AARL, an avid gardener, and was the movie man at Patriots Park in the 1960s.
He is survived by a son, Roger E. of Allentown; daughters, Sylvia C. and her husband Thomas Hilmer of Macungie, Susan K. of Allentown, and Sharon K. Rider of Allentown; sisters, Susan Kleppinger of Macungie, Florence and her husband Robert Reiss of Emmaus, and Alice and her husband Kenneth Kline of Emmaus; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; close radio buddy, Jim Amici. He was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa H. Mohlman.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Upper Milford Mennonite Church, 6450 Kings Highway South, Zionsville. Viewing 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
