Robert V. Boettger, 75, of Allentown and formerly of West Catasauqua, died June 25, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Nemeth) Boettger for 23 years.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Harry W. and Sophie M. (Krafisch) Boettger.

He was a machine operator at both the Fairtex and Wrights Textiles mills.

He was a member of St. Mary's Church, Catasauqua.

He was a former member of the Catasauqua Moose Lodge.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Michael; seven daughters, Brenda and her husband Sean Campbell, Robin and her husband Barry Houck, Kathleen Bedocs, Sue and her husband Jim Rodriguez, MaryJane and her husband Ron Schaffer; Rosemarie and her husband Scott Krantz and Barbara Bedocs; two sisters, Marlene and MaryAnn Boettger; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Helen Check.
