Josephine A. Ebert, 87, of Northampton, died June 13, 2013, in ManorCare, Bethlehem.

Born in Sheidys, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Bertha (Harakal) Rechtor.

She was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Northampton.

She is survived by three sons, Ralph and his wife Joan of Northampton, John and his wife Jennifer of Walnutport and Ronnie and his wife Susan of Gilbertsville; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Schrantz of Schnecksville; and a brother, John Rechtor of Pearland, Texas.

She was predeceased by three brothers; and two sisters.
