Eileen W. Rex, 71, of Bath, died June 13, 2013. She was the wife of Burnell Rex for 50 years.

Born in Bath, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Elsie (Wagner) Spengler.

She graduated from Kutztown University with a bachelor's degree in education.

She was a member of Emmanuel's Lutheran Church, Bath.

She is survived by two sons, Christopher and his wife Colleen of Easton and Jonathan and his wife Dorothy of Dixon, Mo; three daughters, Stephanie and her husband Eli Makhoul of Northampton, Andrea and her husband Ken Barrios of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Jennifer and her husband Robert Smith of Northampton; 13 grandchildren; two brothers, Earl and Richard; and several nieces and nephews.
