Laptop stolen

A resident of South Front Street reported the theft of an Apple laptop Saturday.

The woman said the laptop was stolen from the playground area at the Coplay Parkway, police said.

The item was valued at $400, police said.

Vehicle defaced

A resident of the 400 block of Chestnut Street reported Saturday morning that someone overnight spray painted an "X" on her 2011 Volkswagen Jetta.

The vehicle was parked on Chestnut Street, police said.

GPS unit taken

A resident of the unit block of South Front Street informed police June 27 a Garmin GPS unit was stolen from his vehicle.

Police said the vehicle was unlocked at the time the theft took place. The unit is valued at $200.

GPS stolen

A resident of the unit block of Strawberry Alley reported to borough police June 26 the theft of a GPS unit valued at $150 from his unlocked truck, police said.
