John "Mike" Carlisle, 70, of Lower Macungie Township, died June 23, 2013, in his home. He was the husband of Karen L. (Fields) Carlisle. They were married for 48 years. Born in Washington, he was the son of the late John J. and Marian (Allender) Carlisle.

He served in the U.S. Army National Guard.

He was a steel sales representative for 25 years. He later worked for Daytimers Inc. for 10 years.

He was an avid Notre Dame football fan and he enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Amy and her husband Tom Alioto, of Carlsbad, Calif., Melissa and her husband Jeff Borneman, of Perkasie, and Megan and her husband Doug MacGeorge of Emmaus; grandchildren, Courtney, Sydney, Haley, Jake, Tyler and Mason; brother, Joseph of Washington; sister, Judy Walz of Washington.
