Robert Harold Grozalis, 68, of Lower Macungie, formerly of Hackensack and Pompton Lakes, N.J., died June 20, 2013, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. He was the husband of Mary (Carolan) Grozalis. They would have been married 46 years June 24. Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late Thomas J. and Kathryn (Gibbons) Grozalis.

He graduated from Hackensack High School in 1963 where he excelled in football, wrestling and track and field.

He retired from both United Parcel Service and Federal Express.

His favorite past times were spending time at his bungalow in Ocean Beach, N.J. and being a loving "Poppy" to his seven grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife; two children, Tara and her husband Gregg Furniss of Lower Macungie, and Dr. Robert H. Jr., and his wife Dr. Jennifer of Newtown; grandchildren, Tyla and Addison, Bryan, Scott, Aidan, Eric and Cameron Furniss; sister, Kathy Serafin of Foxlake, Ill. He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Richard.
