Youth drowns
A 17-year-old Allentown resident drowned in a private Whitehall pool, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.
Abel De Luna, 17, of 803 Saul St., Allentown, was pronounced dead Saturday at 4:11 p.m. in the emergency department at Sacred Heart Hospital.
An autopsy undertaken Monday determined the cause of death to be drowning and manner of death an accident, says a news release from the coroner's office.
The death is related to an incident that occurred while De Luna was swimming in a pool known as Hanna's Hotspot, owned by Michael G. and Seham Hanna of 347 Sixth St., Whitehall.
The Whitehall Township Police Department is currently investigating the incident.

· Police were called to Walmart, 2601 MacArthur Road, to investigate a disturbance.
· Officers responded to a harassment complaint in the 4100 block of Kansas Avenue.
· An alarm summoned police to the 1200 block of Midway Circle.

· A report of a suspicious person selling children's educational books brought officers to 4500 Troxell Drive.
· Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Gavalla Street.
· Police were called to Rite-Aid, 2108 MacArthur Road, to conduct a drug investigation.

· A report of a theft brought officers to Chuck E. Cheese, 1000 Lehigh Valley Mall.
· Officers responded to a request for a protection-from-abuse order in the 3700 block of Lehigh Street.
· A report of a suspicious vehicle brought police to Buca Di Beppo, 714 Grape St.
· Officers were called to Maryland Circle to investigate a sex offense.
· A report of an assault brought police to the 1400 block of Robert Street.
· Police responded to a report of a juvenile who struck another student in the face at Whitehall High School, 3800 Mechanicsville Road.

· A disturbance between a father and son brought officers to the 2400 block of Eberhart Road.
· Police responded to a theft from a vehicle in the 1700 block of Peachtree Circle.
· Officers were called to the 200 block of Kimmett Avenue to investigate a report of a debit card used without authorization.
· Police responded to a report that $85 worth of merchandise was stolen at JC Penny, 500 Lehigh Valley Mall.
· A report of a woman who spit in a man's face brought officers to the unit block of Madison Lane.

· Police were called to the 100 block of Shiloh Court to investigation a report of identity theft.
· An assault brought officers to the 1200 block of Basswood Lane.
· Police responded to a report of a damaged vehicle window in the unit block of Jordan Lane.
· A report of a wanted person brought officers to 13th Street.

· Officers responded to a report of a discharged fire arm on Route 145.
· Police were called to the 400 block of West Union Street to investigate a report of a vehicle egged.
· A harassment complaint brought officers to Wawa, 2985 MacArthur Road.
· Police responded to a suspicious activity in the 300 block of Sixth Street.
