Phyllis M. Leibold-Zellers
Phyllis M. Leibold-Zellers, 74, of Bethlehem, died June 11, 2013, in Manor Care Health Services, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Ralph Zellers Jr. for 10 years and of the late William Leibold.
Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and Dorothy (Wagner) Hetrick.
Before retiring in 2000, she was a crossing guard and worked as a dispatcher for the Northampton Police Department for five years.
She was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Moore Township, where she was an assistant Girl Scout leader of Troop 392, Emmanuels.
She was a founding member and held the offices of president, secretary, public relations officer and chaplain for the Northampton Exchangettes. She was a board member of the Senior Ladies, Northampton. She was a member of the Northampton VFW Post 4714 Womens Auxillary, the Allen Township Ambulance Corps and Ladies Auxillary, and the Sweet Adelines, Bethlehem. She was a former choir member of Bethany Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Christine and her husband Warren W. Walker Jr. of Bath and Lora L. and her husband Ramon Alvarez of Bethlehem; a stepdaughter, Sandra Zellers of Northampton; two sons, Richard A. and his wife Lynne Leibold of Northampton and Robert W. and his wife Janet Leibold of Quakertown; two stepsons, Ralph Zellers III of Bethlehem and Kevin and his wife Deborah Zellers of Pennsville; two brothers, Charles Hetrick and Robert and his wife Linda Hetrick, all of Bethlehem; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a stepdaughter, Beverly Hafth; and a brother, Leon Hetrick.
