The North Catasauqua Small Town USA Golf Tournament will be June 23 at Willowbrook Golf Course, beginning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start in a four-person scramble format. Call for details or pick up a registration form at borough hall.
Participants will receive a golf cart rental, Continental breakfast, gift bag, beverages served by the Betterment Girls, hot dogs and snacks on the green, a buffet dinner by Fairview House, awards and door prizes.
Proceeds from the tournament will go toward interior and exterior improvements at North Catasauqua Borough Hall in celebration of its 100th birthday.
Walk-ins and late entries are accepted with a cash payment the day of tournament.

The We Sing Chorus is sponsoring its annual community yard sale and flea market 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 22 at the park (rain date June 29). Space is still available for yard sale and flea market tables.

St. Andrews Young at Heart, Third and Eugene streets, will meet June 26 in the church social hall, for a time of fun, friendship, and bingo at 1 p.m.
The group will be heading to Mohegan Sun on June 28 and to Ace in the Hole, N.J., for October Fest with entertainment by Al Meixler Oct. 9. Seats are available on the bus for both trips. Call Bill Molchany at 610-264-0920 to reserve yours.

The North Catasauqua Recreation Committee has announced its free summer concert series. The Emil Schanta Polka Band will perform at the borough park pavilion 6:30-9 p.m. June 28. Additional concerts will be announced here later.

Free beginner tennis lessons will be given June 24, 25 and July 1 and 2, from 8:30 until 10 a.m. All ages are welcome, from first graders to adults. Participants must wear sneakers. Try to have a racquet. Call Nin Snyder with questions at 610-264 4328.
