Frances C. Ferenchak, 87, of Catasauqua, died June 4, 2013, in her residence.

Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Kuchera) Ferenchak

She was a seamstress for the former Fuller Sportswear Company and various sewing mills in the Lehigh Valley before retiring.

She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church where she was a member of the Young At Heart group and on the pierogy crew.

She is survived by a son, Joseph and his wife Deborah of Bethlehem; two brothers, Edward and his wife Lucille Ferenchak and Bernard and his wife Max Ferenchak, all of North Catasauqua; a granddaughter, Kelly and her husband John Burkhart; two great-grandchildren, James and Elizabeth Burkhart; a goddaughter, Elayne Wescoe; nieces; and nephews.
