Peggy J. Ernst-Bibighaus, 66, of Salisbury Township, died June 14, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospice House. She was the wife of David A. Bibighaus. They were married for 28 years. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of Eleanor P. (Lutz) Ernst of Bethlehem and the late Mahlon L. Ernst.
She was a 1963 graduate of Liberty High School. She worked as a property manager for Morgan Properties in Allentown.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Salisbury Fire Company.
She enjoyed going to the beach, playing bingo, doing crosswords and spending time with her family, who knew her as "The Queen."
She is survived by her husband; mother; daughter, Lori Roth-Hillegas and her husband Dan and their children Brett, Tanner and Krystle of Salisbury Township; grandchildren, Cody and Jacob Gebhart; two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Kylie; stepchildren, Brian Bibighaus and Robin Bibighaus and her children Haily and Anthony; brother, Robert and his wife Diane of Macungie; sisters, Debbie and her husband Dwayne Mink of Bethlehem and Carol and her husband Carl Ziegler of Hellertown; nieces and nephews; beloved dog and companion, Shadow. She was predeceased by a son, Gary Gebhart and son-in-law, Tim Roth.
Arrangements were made by the Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
