Raymond V. Achey Jr., 79, of Bath, died May 19, 2013, at ManorCare Health Services, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Dolores K. (Richter) Achey for 58 years.

Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Raymond and Grace (Bersch) Achey Sr.

He was in the U.S. Navy.

He was a painter for Bethlehem Steel Corporation until he retired after 37 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Kathleen P. and her husband Larry Marshall of Lynn Haven, Fla. and Susan and her husband Glenn Fatzinger of Allentown; four grandchildren, Melissa and her husband Eric Bush, Elizabeth and her husband Joshua Farris, Brian and his wife Nadine Fatzinger and Justin Marshall; three great-grandchildren, Alexander and Haley Bush and Allyson Fatzinger; and a nephew, William and his wife Jeanette Mitman.

He was predeceased by a sister, Lorraine Mitman.
