Louis Mollo, 93, of Bethlehem, died June 1, 2013, at the Hospice House of St. Luke's. Born in Roseto; he was a son of the late Anthony and Anna (Realo) Mollo. Hew as the husband of Madelyn (Colletta) Mollo.
He was in the U.S. Army during World War II and was involved in the D-Day Invasion on the beaches of Normandy.
He retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corp as a section foreman of PBNE Railroad after 23 years of service.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, where he was a member of the OLPH Senior group.
He was a member of the St. Anne's Shrine, MORA Club, Roseto Legion and both the Heights and North East Wanderers Athletic Associations. He was a Boy Scout and was an assistant scout master of Roseto Troop 36.
He is survived by a son, David N. and his wife Theresa of Bangor; a grandson, Nicholas and his wife Valerie Mollo, and a great granddaughter, Tanya.
He was predeceased by a sister, Theresa and her late husband Nicholas Renaldo.
