Catherine E. Rothenberger, 97, died June 5, 2013, on her birthday in Bethlehem. Born in Hellertown, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Laura (Raub) Hoffert. She was the wife of the late Forrest H. Rothenberger for 55 years.

She worked in the offices of the Byron Jackson Company, Bethlehem and New York City, and at Bethlehem Steel Corporation.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Hellertown, where she taught many years in Sunday School and served on many positions.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan J. and her husband Randy Raab of Bethlehem, with whom she resided; a son, Robert H. and his wife Anita of Allentown; a brother, Albert and his wife Janet Hoffert of Hellertown;a sister-in-law, Lin Hoffert of Hellertown; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a sister, Flora Bachman; and a brother, Grant Hoffert.
