Raymond L. Silnik, 87, of Emmaus, died June 10, 2013, at the VNA Hospice House of St Luke's, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Betty E. H. Schoch.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and he was employed at Mack Trucks for 26 years until retiring.
He was a former member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Emmaus.
He is survived by a son, Raymond P. of Allentown; granddaughter, Stacy Silnik; brother-in-law, Kent Schoch of Charlotte, N.C. He was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Deborah.

Services will be held 8 p.m. Thursday, at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 7 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
