Shooting reported

Whitehall Township Police responded on June 5 at 12:07 a.m. to a call of a shooting victim in the area of Route 145 and Mickley Road near budget Self Storage.

The victim approached a passing motorist and asked for assistance, police said. The motorist phoned Lehigh County Radio which then notified police and EMS.

According to police, The victim sustained two gunshot wounds and was transported to the hospital for treatment for his injuries.

An investigation is ongoing into the incident, police said.

· Officers responded to a report of identity theft in the 3400 block of School Street.

· A report of an overdose brought police to the 2300 block of North First Avenue.

· Police were called to the 4300 block of Truman Street to investigate a report of loitering.

· Officers responded to an alarm at Empire Beauty School, 1634 MacArthur Road.

· Police conducted a drug investigation in the 3000 block of Birch Street.

· A report of an open door and window brought police to the 400 block of Carolina Avenue.

· Officers were called to the 1200 block of Forest Road to investigate the theft of cash and jewelry.

· Police responded to a report of a suspicious activity in the 1000 block of Third Street.

· A motor vehicle crash brought officers to MacArthur Road.

JUNE 1

· Officers assisted EMS in the 300 block of Fourth Street.

· A disturbance brought police to the 3300 block of South Second Street.

· Officers responded to a DUI on Main Street.

· A report of harassment brought police to Sports Scene, 1241 Whitehall Mall.

· Police were called to the 3100 block of North Fifth Avenue.

JUNE 2

· A report of a theft brought officers to Riley's, 4506 Main St.

· Police responded to a disturbance in the 5100 block of Stone Terrace Drive.

· Officers were called to the 100 block of Oakwood Drive to investigate a report of a burglary.

· A report of criminal mischief brought police to Walmart, 2601 MacArthur Road.

· Officers were called to the 3300 block of South Front Street to investigate a report of a theft.
