Shirley M. Borger, 88, of Bethlehem, died May 31, 2013. Born in Duryea, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Rena (Scheatzle) Renfer. She was the wife of the late Franklin R. Borger Jr.

She was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ, Bethlehem.

She is survived by three daughters, Beverly and her husband James Check of Pleasant Mount, Barbara Maholick of Bethlehem and Nancy and her husband John Holzwarth of Stow, Ohio; a sister, Betty Weiskerger of Williamsport; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
