Rose Marie Rice, 69, of Catasauqua, died June 4, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Richard Rice for 50 years.

Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Anna (Deibert) Mehefko.

She was a secretary at Lincoln Middle School, Catasauqua, until retiring.

She was a member of St. Mary's Church of the Annunciation B.V.M., Catasauqua.

She was a member of the St. Andrew's Young At Heart club. She bowled at the Catasauqua American Legion Post 215.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Kristin and her husband James Woods of Elm Grove, Wisc., and Keith and his wife Elena of Union, N.J.; two sisters, Barbara and her husband Lewis Perdick and Dorothy and her husband Joseph Vassa; a brother, Jacob Jr. and his wife Evelyn Mehefko; and two grandchildren, Emma and Zoe Woods.

She was predeceased by a brother, William Mehefko.

A calling hour will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. followed by a memorial Mass at 10 a.m., both June 7 at the church, 122 Union St., Catasauqua, 18032.
