Melissa A. Sterner, 50, of Whitehall, died May 31, 2013, at her residence.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Martha M. (Andrusky) Bammer of Whitehall and the late Thomas H. Baumer Jr.; and the biological daughter of Allen E. Gross.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Madison Lynn Sterner; a sister, Karen and her husband Brad Fogel; a brother, Thomas Bammer III; a sister, Samantha and her husband Thomas Hodge Jr.; and companion, Larry Weaver.
