Mary A. Szerensits, 83, of Coplay, died May 30, 2013, in Northampton Village. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Szerensits for 61 years.

Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Mary (Osze) Ifkovits.

She was a sewing machine operator for the former Clyde Shirt Company, Northampton, for 42 years until she retired in 1988.

She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay.

She is survived by a son, Thomas M. and his wife Jude of Bel Air, Md.; five grandchildren, Taryn, Jinae, Tatum, Tanner and Travis; and six great-grandchildren, Devon, Molly, Will, Violet, Ave and Radek; and a sister, Theresa Ifkovits.

She was predeceased by two siblings, Martin and Rose Ifkovits.
