St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 835 Third St., will hold an indoor yard sale 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at Fritze Hall.

Parking is available in the lot to the rear of the church.

The kitchen will be open and there will be a bake sale.

A recycling bin will be available June 7-9 in the parking lot of the church. Members of the public can drop off home electronics, textiles (bedding, pillows, blankets, shoes, coats, etc.), glassware, dishes, pots and pans, jewelry, plastics, wicker items, yard and garden tools (not gas powered), travel equipment, backpacks, books, toys, decorations and sporting equipment.

AARP Chapter 3115 will meet at noon Thursday, June 6, at the American Club, 300 Cherry St., Coplay. Refreshments will be available noon-1 p.m.

Ed Ryan, volunteer AARP ambassador to the United Nations, will speak after the social hour. Tickets will be available for the annual picnic. New members are welcome.
