Theft of cash reported
A resident of the unit block of South Second Street reported the theft of $480 cash.
The man said someone entered his room between 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. while he was not home June 1, and took the cash, police said.
Resident cited
Robert Moyer, 31, of Coplay, was cited with disorderly conduct June 1 following a report of a disturbance at a residence in the unit block of North Seventh Street.
Police said upon arrival, officers diffused a situation between Moyer and his mother. Moyer agreed to leave the residence but, when he did so, he shouted obscenities, police said.
Although he was told to calm down, Moyer continued to speak loudly as he moved into the center of Seventh Street, police said.
Moyer then became verbally abusive toward police and continued shouting, resulting in his arrest, police said.
Bicycles and gnome stolen
A resident of the 100 block of Maple Street on Friday, May 3, reported the theft of three bicycles and an Eagles gnome.
The items were taken from her front porch and yard May 3, police said.
The items were valued at approximately $560.
