James F. Williams Jr., 72, of Macungie, formerly of Hatboro, died May 22, 2013. He was the husband of Nancy Margaret (Lazar) Williams. They were married 15 years in April. Born in Star, N.C., he was the son of the late James Franklin Williams Sr. and Mae (Allen) Williams.

He was a furniture designer and manufacturer. He also worked at Needles N Hoops Stichery Company in Hatboro and Bethlehem Steel, Sparrows Point, Md.

He served in the U.S. Army in the Third Armored Division and was stationed in Germany.

He is survived by his wife; daughter Suzann; sister, Sharon Lee Williams.

Services are private. Arrangements were made by the Sell-Herron Funeral Home and Herron Crematory in Allentown.
