Tyler Bernard Smith, 32, of Northampton, died in his home May 14, 2013. He was the husband of Chanan (Cortez) Smith. They celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary this year.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of Thomas Benner and Brenda Smith.

He worked as an electrician for Edison Electric and was an apprentice and a member of IBEW 375 since 2005.

He was a Marine Corps vet who served during Operation Enduring Freedom in Kuwait.

He was a loving father and an attentive husband and best friend to Chanan. He loved music, especially Pantera, and was a tattoo enthusiast and avid fisherman.

He is survived by his wife; sons Riley and Torin; daughter, Madison; stepdaughter, Kahley Good; parents; stepmother Marianne Benner; brother Thomas Benner Jr.; sister, Nicole; nephew Blu Quigley; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name, payable to and in care of the funeral home.
