The Northampton Area Public Library and the Friends of NAPL will be holding the annual Family Fun Day on 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, June 1.

There will be goody bags for the children, sand art, Rita's Italian Ice, balloon animals and more.

Registration for the summer children's programs will also begin that day. Choose from Toddler Storytime for children age 2, Creative Preschoolers Storytime for children age 3 through entering kindergarten, Kindergarten Countdown for children entering kindergarten, Toddler/Preschool Family Storytime and Storycraft for children who have completed kindergarten through grade 2, Art and Books for children who have completed grades 3 through 5 and Readers' Theater for readers from any grade level.

Sign-ups will also be held for the library's Summer Reading Club, for children age 2 through grade 5 completed, where children earn prizes every week for reading at home. The library's other summer programs include Family Time on June 13, Science Tellers on July 10 and the End of Summer Parties on Aug. 15. This year the library will also have exciting new Teen Programs all summer long.

Holy Trinity Nursery School, 1235 Main St., is now registering for the 2013-14 school year.

The 2-year-old Playgroup class meets Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30-11 a.m. Class size is limited to 12 children who do not need to be toilet trained.

The 3-year-old class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9-11:30 a.m. and the 4-year-old class meets Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 12:15-2:45 p.m. Each class size is limited to 16 children who need to be toilet trained.

Children must turn the appropriate age for the class by Sept. 1.

There is a registration fee and a monthly tuition cost.

The annual Wynnewood Estates family garage sale will be held 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, May 25.

More than 50 families will be participating.

Directions: Travel east on 10th Street from Main Street. Turn left onto Atlas Lane and continue to Buckingham Drive.

The Northampton Memorial Community Center, 16th Street and Laubach Avenue, hosts bingo every Monday night. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the games begin at 7 p.m.

The kitchen is open.

Proceeds benefit the Northampton Recreation Center.
