Joyce L. Hartman, 84, of Boyertown, died May 15, 2013, at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Lewis Hartman.

Born in Petersville, she was a daughter of the late Paul Sr. and Jennie (Miller) Koch.

She is survived by three daughters, Charleen C. and her husband Mark Johnson of Bally, Pamela L. Matthew of Boyertown and Karen J. and her husband William Kelleher of Bechtelsville; two sons, Gary and his wife Betsy of Ooltewh, Tenn. and Jeffrey J. and his wife Robbin of Dix Hills, N.Y.; a sister, Christine C. Yost of Northampton; a brother, Jay F. Koch of Northampton; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Paul J. Jr., Grant and Samuel l. Koch.
