Hilda C. Otter, 98, of Orefield, died May 17, 2013, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall.

She was the wife of the late Norman H. Otter.

Born June 30, 1914, in Beach Haven, Luzerne County, she was the daughter of the late Floyd C. and Ruth C. (Harter) Slusser.

She was the oldest member of Morgenland Union Church, Orefield.

Her survivors include children Nancy E. Bergstresser, with whom she resided, Gerald N. and his wife, Monica, of Germansville, Betty Lou Hausman of Coplay, Linda J. Phifer and her husband, Daryl, of Breinigsville; son-in-law Kenneth T. Rhode of Allentown; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandson.

She was predeceased by a daughter June M. Rhode, sons-in-law Victor Bergstresser and Revalin Hausman, and five siblings.
