Helen Paul, 99, of Whitehall and formerly of Coplay, died May 18, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Allentown. She was the wife of the late James E. Paul.

Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Kittan) Stempak.

She worked in textiles and for department stores. She was a cafeteria worker for the Whitehall School District before she retired in 1984.

She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Coplay, where she was a former quilter.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen A. of Bluffton, S.C.; nieces; and nephews

She was predeceased by five sisters; and three brothers.

There will be a calling hour from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m., both May 23, at Trinity U.C.C. Church, 17 N. Third St., Coplay.
