Carlton W. Weaver, 81, of Egypt, died May 15, 2013, in St. Luke's Hospice, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Doris E. (Sell) Weaver for 57 years.
Born in Egypt, he was a son of the late George T. and Erma L. (Heilman) Weaver.
He was a 1950 graduate of Whitehall High School.
He was in the U. S. Army during the Korean conflict.
He was a maintenance mechanic at Lehigh Valley Dairies and Beatrice Foods for more than 33 years. He was a sexton at the former Egypt Union Church.
He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church where he sang with the choir for 55 years. He was a church council member.
He was a past president of the Quarter Century Club of the Lehigh Valley. He was a member of the Donald S. Reinert VFW Post 7293, Egypt.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Denise L. and her husband Bob Smith and Deneen L. and her husband Bill Kiefer; a son, Dennis C. and his wife Cathy; three grandchildren, Kimberly, Keith and Kelly; two sisters, Doris Diefenderfer and Beverly and her husband Glenn Hacker; a brother, Bruce and his wife Ruth Weaver; two godsons, Dale and Keith; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Randall Weaver.
