Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Fourth and Pine streets, Catasauqua, will hold a Community Day yard sale 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, May 18.

Food, a moon bounce, face painting and child identification will also be available during the sale.

Proceeds from the event benefit Mrs. Nothstein's Helping Hands organization.

The next Old Home Week 2014 committee meeting is tonight, May 16, at the American Legion on Second Street at 7 p.m.

Community members who wish to help plan the event are welcome to attend.

The Catasauqua High Rise, Third and Pine streets, will hold a yard sale 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, May 18.

This event will be held indoors, rain or shine.

A bake sale is also planned. Lunch will be available. Come on out for some great deals!

The South Catasauqua Annual Neighborhood yard sale will take place 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 17 and 18 at locations south of Race Street and up to and including Circle Drive.

St. Mary's Parish Center, Third and Union streets, Catasauqua, will host a bingo Sunday, May 19, starting at 1 p.m. The kitchen will be open and takeout is available.

This will be the last bingo event until September, so get your friends together for a fun afternoon of fine food and fellowship.

The closing meeting of the Catasauqua Woman's Club will take place 6 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at the Jednota Club in North Catasauqua.

Dinner will be served. Doug Corcoran will speak on the history of Catasauqua families and their homes.

The event will be a fitting end to an interesting and fun-filled year. Many thanks to all who made it possible.
