Carolyn M. Rieck, 94, of Limerick, died May 5, 2013, at Pottstown Manor Care, Pottstown.

Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late Roland M. and Perma (Shoemaker) Meyle.

She was an elementary teacher in Coplay and Pittsburgh schools.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Coplay.

She was a member of the Rose Croix Chapter, Eastern Star, Northampton.

She is survived by three daughters, Elaine "Missy" and her husband Glenn Vernon of Limerick, and Deborah A.R. and her husband Bruce Ellison and Robin and her late husband Gilbert Hain, all of of Seattle, Wash.; a son, Willian C. and his wife Donna of Houston, Texas; a niece and goddaughter, Susan Donahue of Reading; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
