Caroline M. Achey, 89, of Cherryville and formerly of Northampton, died May 12, 2013, at the Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton. She was the wife of the late Max I. Achey for 57 years.

Born in Nesquehoning, she was a daughter of the late John and Emma (Race) Heffelfinger.

She is survived by three sons, Luther K. and his wife Roseanne of Slatington, Max C. and his wife Jane of Cherryville, and Randall S. and his companion Jane of Northampton; two daughters, Janet M. and her husband Earl Hoffman of Walnutport and Marianne M. and her husband Dennis Michael of Cherryville; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by six brothers, Paul, Harry, George, Charles, Leroy and Fred Heffelfinger; and three sisters, Florence Frey, Evelyn Druckenmiller and Esther Welsh.

Services are 11 a.m. May 16 at the funeral home, 2165 Community Drive, Moorestown. Calling hours are 10-11 a.m.
