Richard B. Williams

Richard "Dick" B. Williams, 88, of Catasauqua, died in his home on April 29, 2013. He was the husband of Catherine "Kitty" Williams of Catasauqua for 37 years.

Born in Bangor, he was a son of the late Blake and Claire Williams.

He was a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force.

He was the sole proprietor of Modern Construction for over 40 years.

He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Catasauqua.

He was a member of the Catasauqua American Legion Post 215. He was a volunteer with the Catasauqua Area Showcase Theatre (C.A.ST.), Lutheran Brotherhood/ Thrivent, Lehigh Gap Nature Center, Catasauqua Public Library, St. Paul's Church, and Scheckler Elementary School. He was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Jacqueline and her husband Edward Hendrickson; two stepsons, Donald and his wife Brenda Wallace and David, M.D., and his wife Arlene Wallace; a step daughter, Ann and her husband Wayne Dreyman; grandchildren, Jennifer Groff and husband, Nathan, Jonathan Wallace, Alexandra Rodriguez and husband, Alex, and Rebecca Dreyman; members of the extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Mary Perdick Williams.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. May 11 at St. Pau'ls Evangelical Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road, Catasauqua, 18032. There will be a calling period from 10 until 11 a.m., before the service at the church.

Contributions may be made to the church or to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2166 S. 12th St., Suite 401, Allentown, 18103.
