Good Shepherd Catholic School will present A Night of the Arts 7 p.m. Thursday, May 16, in the school gymnasium.
The event, which is open to the public, will feature art exhibits by students in grades K-8, including recent award-winning works in various mediums.
Music will be provided by the school choir and band. In addition, the Good Shepherd Catholic School drama program will entertain with selections from its 2012-13 theater productions.

The Northampton Area Historical Society will open the Siegfried Railroad Station 1-4 p.m. Sunday, May 19.
From May through September the station will be open on the third Sunday of each month.
The station is a museum housing artifacts from Northampton and the surrounding area. Along with permanent exhibits are new exhibits each year. This year's new exhibits include a display of memorabilia from the R.A. Smith Milling Company, items from Northampton's centennial and firefighting equipment. A box of old photographs will also be available for the public to peruse.
There is no charge to visit the museum, but donations for the ongoing restoration of the station are accepted.
The station is located on West 21st St. (Route 329), Northampton.

Good Shepherd Catholic School will hold its second annual golf outing Saturday, May 11, at Willow Brook Golf Course in Catasauqua.
The tournament, which begins at 8 a.m., is a shotgun-start, scramble format. The cost includes cart and green fees, continental breakfast, refreshments on the course, lunch and awards.
Proceeds will help to purchase new front doors and a new security system for the school.

A community yard sale will take place in Northampton 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, June 8. It is sponsored by the Quota Club, the Northampton Area Food Bank and the Northampton Area Historical Society.
The Quota Club will be situated at Canal Park along the Lehigh River. Spaces are available for anyone who wishes to sell items. Call 610-440-2171 for more information or to reserve a spot.
The food bank will be located at the Northampton Fire Department Building on Lerchenmiller Drive. Tables are available for free. Call 610-264-9786 for more information or to reserve a spot.
The historical society sale will be located at its headquarters, the Siegfried Railroad Station, on West 21st Street (Route 329). The society will accept donations from the public for its sale on June 6 and June 7, 6-8 p.m.. For more information, call 610-262-4748.

The Queenship of Mary Church in Northampton will hold a festival on the church grounds noon-7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 9.
It will feature food, a bake sale, bingo, children's games, a raffle and 50/50 drawing.
The Josef Kroboth Orchestra will perform from 3:30 to 7 p.m.

The Friends of the Northampton Area Public Library are sponsoring a chartered bus trip to Adventure Aquarium, Camden, N.J., Friday, June 21. The bus will leave at 8 a.m. from the Northampton Recreation Center, 1 Lerchenmiller Drive, and will return at approximately 6 p.m.
This trip is open to everyone. The deadline to purchase tickets is Thursday, May 23.

Those planning to attend should park in the lot to the left of the rec center building and use the rows farthest from the building.

The Northampton Memorial Community Center, 16th Street and Laubach Avenue, hosts bingo every Monday night. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the games begin at 7 p.m.
The kitchen is open.
Proceeds benefit the Northampton Recreation Center.
