The Liberty Bell Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution held its annual Good Citizen Award ceremony and tea March 25.

The chapter honored students from Lehigh County selected as their school's good citizen based on DAR's four criteria of dependability, leadership, service and patriotism.

The winners then moved to the next phase of competition. The winner at that level will advance to the state level.

Betsy Burnhauser, chapter award chairman, presented a pin, wallet card certificate and book titled "One-Night Stands With American History" to each winner.

Local winners include Selena Contreras, Catasauqua High School, and Lindsey Hutterer, Whitehall High School.
