St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church choir, 417 Howertown Road, will sponsor an Armed Forces Day Salute May 18 at 6:30 p.m. with St. Paul's Night of Music.

Choral groups from across the Lehigh Valley will perform patriotic music.

A free will offering will benefit the Catasauqua Food Bank. A reception will follow the concert.

The South Catasauqua annual neighborhood yard sale is set for 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 17 and 18, rain or shine. Sales will take place south of Race Street and up to and including Circle Drive.

Those wishing to sell during the sale must pay a fee by May 13.

The Catasauqua Club, 226 Pine St., will be serving a Mother's Day brunch 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, May 12. The event is open to the public and is non-smoking.

All mothers present will receive a complimentary carnation. The all-you-can-eat buffet will feature omelets made to order along with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, toast, home fries, French toast, creamed chipped beef, crepes and pastries, coffee, tea and orange juice.
