Lois F. Dattoli, 85, of Emmaus, formerly of Walnutport, died April 30, 2013, at Emmaus Village, Emmaus. She was the wife of the late Joseph F. Dattoli Jr., who died in May of 2002. Born in Plainfield, N.J., she was the daughter of the late John Patrick and Frances Marie (Bray) Snyder.
She was employed as an assembly worker for RCA of Bridgewater, N.J. for many years. In conjunction with RCA, she waitressed for many establishments throughout New Jersey. After moving to the Lehigh Valley, she continued to work in the cafeteria for the former Christ the King School, Whitehall for several years.
She was the past president and member of the Elks Auxiliary in Somerville, N.J.; member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Walnutport.
She enjoyed baking and was known as the cookie lady.
She was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by a daughter L. Marie and her husband Philip von Funk, of Kutztown; daughter-in-law, Dr. Delores Prakopcyk of Kennesaw, Ga.; twin sister, Doris Denning of Hampton, N.J.; brother, Joseph Snyder and his wife, Sandra Lee, of Belle Haven, Va.; two grandchildren, Douglas von Funk, of Boyertown, Rebecca von Funk, of Towson, Md. She was predeceased by a son, John Prakopcyk; three brothers; three sisters.
Contributions may be made to the Lehigh County Humane Society or the Salvation Army both c/o the funeral home.
