Earlier this April, former K-Kid and current Muhlenberg sophomore Tyler Bauer was named the mens field athlete of the month in the Centennial Conference.
At the time, Bauer threw the javelin 201-6 to finish first and set a facility record at the Muhlenberg Invitational, which was held on April 5.
Recently, Bauer threw a 208-10 at the Lehigh Games on April 26. That throw puts him ninth in the javelin in all of Division III. The best throw belongs to Tim VanLiew of Rutgers-Camden at 217-6. Bauer's 208-10 is good enough for the top spot in the Centennial Conference and next best is Marquis Wilson of Ursinus with a 183-11.
