John J. Zampino, 46, of Alburtis, died April 23, 2013. He was the husband of Ellen (Kosciolek) Zampino. Born in Camden, N.J., he was the son of the late Lena A. (Minnite) Zampino and Joseph W. Zampino, of Alburtis.

He was a mail handler for the United States Post Office in Moorestown, N.J. for several years.

He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Orefield.

He enjoyed the beach, fishing and loved spending time with his sons.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Paul and Casimir; father; brother, Dominick J. and his wife, Gilda, of Galloway, N.J.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leonard and Paula (Gergel) Kosciolek, of Northampton; sister-in-law Melenie and her husband Jonathan Zsigovits, their children Izabella, Zachari and Genevieve all of Emmaus; sister-in-law Helene of Northampton; nieces and nephew, Cara, Marissa and Dominick; many dear lifelong friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family for The Paul and Casimir Zampino Educational Fund, c/o the funeral home, 326 E. 21st St. Northampton.
