Earl J. Lahr, 94, of Hidden Meadows, Sellersville, formerly of Hosensack, died April 8, 2013, at Life Quest Nursing Center, Quakertown. He was the husband of the late Naomi A. (Yeakel) Lahr, who died in 2002. Born in Herndon, he was the son of the late Israel Daniel and Mamie Lulu (Raker) Lahr.
He was a machinist at Mack Trucks for 18 years until retiring.
He was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
He was a member and generous contributor to the Community Fish & Game Association.
During World War II, he was a member of the Pennsylvania Reserve Defense Corp.
He is survived by sons, Earl L., Woodrow L. and his wife, Linda; daughter, Linda Y. and her husband Thomas Vanim; grandchildren, Anthony Vanim and his wife, Diane, Kirk Vanim and his wife Angela, Marci Cleary and her hsuband David, Kristen Lacey and her husband, James, Marc; eight great-grandchildren; very dear friend, Arlene Scheirer.
