Virginia W. Pursell, 93, of Catasauqua, died April 12, 2013, at Northampton Village.

She was a daughter of the late Blanche (Houser) and Leonard Tedesco and the granddaughter of the late Robert and Anna Houser.

She was a waitress at various restaurants.

She is survived by a son, Robert and his wife Diane of Catasauqua; two daughters, Sylvia of Northampton and Marjorie and her husband Bill Gillespie of Crofton, Md.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
