AARP Chapter 3115 will meet at noon on Thursday, May 2, at the American Club, 300 Cherry St., Coplay. Refreshments will be available during the social hour.

Glenn Miller will entertain with his one-man band. Tickets will be available for the annual picnic. New members are welcome.

St. John's United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., Whitehall, will be holding a basket bingo on Friday, April 26. The doors will open at 6 p.m. and bingo begins at 7 p.m.

There will be 20 games of bingo, a Chinese auction and door prizes. The kitchen will be open.
