Frank J. Hesch Sr., 93, of Stiles, died April 13, 2013, in St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Stella M. (Slokloklovits) Hesch.
Born in Stiles, he was a son of the late John and Annie (Fiedler) Hesch.
A U.S. Army veteran, he was a corporal in the Pacific Theater.
He was a welder for Giant Cement Company and for the former Atlas Cement company for 34 years.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall.
He was in the Civilian Conservation Corps.
He is survived by two daughters, Diane M. and her husband Mark Vordran of Pleasant Valley and Veronica and her husband Dave Blue of Bethlehem; a son, Frank Jr. and his wife Anne of Northampton; six grandchildren, Bryan, Kevin, Kristina, Frank III, Jennifer and Nastashja; and six great-grandchildren, Kiara, Raymond, Timothy, Jace and Avery Mae.
He was predeceased by an infant son; five brothers, John, Joseph, Alfred, Herman and James; and two sisters, Anna and Stella.
