William "Bill" D. Duch, 60, of Catasauqua, died March 31, 2013, at his home. He was the husband of Wendy M. (Foster) Duch.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late William D. Duch Sr. and Winifred (Schmidt) Duch.
He attended St. Lawrence Catholic School and Northampton High School.
He was in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Seatlle A.O.E.-3.
He was a concrete cutter and foreman for Hafner and Son, Northampton. He had been an assembly line worker for Mack Trucks, Allentown.
He attended Salem United Church of Christ, Catasauqua.
He was a member of Catasauqua Rescue Squad and Cetronia Ambulance Corps. He was a former president of the Catasauqua Ambulance Corps.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Johnson; a son, Willian R. and his wife Tammy; four daughters, Kelly Duch, Erin Rankin, Kristin Gualtieri and Ashley Retzler; a sister, Barbara Baer; two brothers, Daniel and Joseph Duch; 12 grandchildren, Megan, Brian, Brandon, Kayla, Jakob, Janessa, Kylie, Rayanna, Ava, Aiden, Liana and Gigi; nieces; and nephews.
