Man found dead
State police are investigating the death of Michael J. Lagoey, 68, of 1502 Fifth St., Bethlehem.
According to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office, Lagoey was found dead April 3 at 12:34 p.m. at the Scottish Inn, 1701 Catasauqua Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County.
Police have ruled the manner of death as suicide.
Harassment charges filed
A verbal dispute that turned into a physical altercation brought state police to the 100 block of Bentwood Circle, Greenbriar MHP, East Allen Township, Northampton County.
Police reported Deborah Ann Torres, 53, of Bath struck a 21-year-old female, also of Bath, in the face.
Torres was charged with harassment, police said.
Man charged
with DUI
Stephen Dietrich, 61, of Nazareth was charged with a DUI March 17 on Route 22, at mile marker 323.6 in Hanover Township, Lehigh County.
Dietrich, who had a blood-alcohol content of .12 percent, was found traveling 76 m.p.h. in a 55 m.p.h. zone, police said.
Light pole struck
Police reported on March 16 at 3:05 a.m. Joseph Shupp, 20, of Bethlehem, struck a light pole while attempting to approach the Route 22 ramp from Fullerton Avenue.
The investigation revealed Shupp had a blood-alcohol content of .16 percent, police said.
State police charged Shupp with DUI and underage drinking.
Fraud reported
State police are investigating the theft of $389.63 worth of Red Bull and Trident gum.
Police said a 20-year-old New York City man attempted March 24 to purchase the items using a fictitious credit card at B.J.'s Wholesale Club, 1785 Airport Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County, police said.
Further investigation revealed Lau was also in possession of additional fictitious credit cards as well as a fake Florida driver's license, police said.
