Kenneth L. Harvey, M.D., 81, of Catasauqua, died March 23, 2013, at home. He was the husband of Margaret (Peg) R. Harvey for 57 years.

Born in Newville, he was a son of the late Paul and Lolita (Peffer) Harvey.

He earned an undergraduate degree from Dickinson College and a medical degree from Temple University.

He had a family medical practice in Catasauqua for 30 years. He was a school physician for the Catasauqua School District for many years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children and grandchildren, Anne, Don, David and Karina Kilburn of Boston, Mass.; David, Grace and Eileen Harvey of Cary, N.C.; John, Rebecca, Olivia and Quinn Harvey of Lancaster; and Jane Harvey Gibbs and Molly and Katie Gibbs of Bethlehem.
