Otto L. Hontz, 87, of Palmerton, died March 21, 2013, at Blue Mountain Health Systems - Palmerton Campus. He was the husband of Karline (Marsh) for 66 years.

Born in Weissport, he was a son of the late William and Jennie (Fulk) Hontz.

He was a cement worker for 38 years with the former Whitehall Cement Company until he retired in 1984.

He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryville.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Patricia and her husband Charles Schimaneck of Danielsville, and Donna and her husband Dennis Bonser of Palmerton.; two grandsons, Todd and Jason Bonser; six great-grandchildren, Hannah, Emily, Kylie, Riley, Camryn and Taylor; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son, Dale Hontz; two brothers; and three sisters.
