Hermina (Minnie) Rose Weigl, 88, formerly of Northampton, died March 14, 2013, at Gracedale Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Edward S. Weigl for 44 years.
Born in Coplay and raised in Nazareth, she was a daughter of the late Julius and Hermina (Yost) Kroboth.
During World War II, she worked at the Bethlehem Steel. She was a machine operator at various garment mills and retired from Tama Manufacturing after 21 years of service.
She was a member of the Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.
She was a member of the Northampton Liederkranz and the Coplay Saengerbund.
She is survived by two daughters, Pat Burns of Northampton and her companion Frank Suranofsky, and Rose and her husband Keith Roberts of Bath; five grandchildren, Jenni, Tara, Korinn, Jared and Lindsey; five great-grandchildren, Tyler, Tad, Laura, Dylan and Aubrey; two sisters, Mary Drovich and Julia Morykan; and a brother, Joseph Kroboth.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Julius and Alfred.
