Frank J. Soldridge, 85, of Walnutport, died March 21, 2013, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Josephine A. (Uhnak) Soldridge.
Born in Whitehall, he was a son of the late Frank E. and Angela (Bult) Soldridge.
He was an army veteran of World War II.
He was a supervisor for Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 30 years until he retired in 1982. He operated the family farm.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whitehall.
He was a past commander and home association president of American Legion Post 899, Lehigh Township, and a past commander of the Northampton County American Legion. He was the finance officer for the American Legion district. He was a member of the VFW Post 7293, Egypt.
He is survived by his companion, Pauline Santee, with whom he resided; two daughters, Margaret Ann and her husband Aaron Labanoski of Whitehall and Louise Minnich and her companion Larry of Whitehall; three sons, Frank J. III of Slatington, Barry Lee and his wife Donna of Lehigh Township and Thomas C. of Whitehall; five stepchildren; two brothers, Robert of Slatington and Paul of Coplay; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, and a great-great grandson.
He was predeceased by two brothers, James and William.
